Did they ever fix the keyboard controlling issues or would i still need to plug in a controller to play this right?

I can play it just fine with KB/M, so idk what issues you mean, you can bind any of the keyboard keys. I don't like that is doesn't support extra mouse buttons or scrollwheel though.

Back when it first came out i kept hearing how they did not put much work at all into getting it to really play good on PC and that the controller worked a hundred times better.
But i was expecting them to patch it out which is what i was asking.

I don't see how thats any different to most if not all of the newer Halo games on Xbox.
