Mic not working?

So i'm just using my laptop mic. Everything seems to read it fine except this game. I've swapped to REPO, headliners, GTA, my mic works. The second I come here nobody can hear me anymore. Anyone have any idea whats happening? (My headset just broke the other day and I haven't bothered to get a new one yet)

Sorry I don't have any fixes to put here, but I've been have the same issue. I've tried everything so far. Changing the inputs, even doing the same for steam. Still nothing...

Silly question, but are you checking ingame mic settings? It's push-to-talk by default (Z key for global vc and X key for walkie-talkie if you have a fate with the ability).
You can change it to Audio-sensitive input in the settings to avoid PTT.

The issue ended up for me being that whenever I launch the game, my mic gets muted via the system tray, and I have to go back into settings to re enable it, weird, but the game still works I guess.

i just tested for this and it is not the problem for me. my computer says the game had my mic activated but still no voice in-game.
and yes I've tested every in game mic input in the settings

Do you have another mic to test? I doubt its that, but you never know. I do have an older headset that doesn't work on some games for some reason. My main one broke due to toddler LUL
