ANEURISM IV

How do I gain Karma
How does one gain or lose karma? Its not very clear and there is no indication anywhere about karma other than when trying to upgrade fates. It doesnt say when you lose it or gain it. Its also not spoken about anywhere else in the game or wiki.

Anyone got anything on the karma system? All ive found out so far is eating bodies seems to give you negative karma but ive not found a way to restore it or see it.
I don't know what you mean by 'Karma'. If you're talking Anamnecytes, which are spent when taking non-Prole Fates, you earn those depending on your job.

Proles gain them by turning Dirty Laundry into Folded Laundry, dropping requested items in the mass of spinning blades at the Ration Factory, correctly doing math at the Ration Factory, making bombs at the Wartime Factory (only during a war), or filling orders at the Metalworks Factory. I'm not sure how other roles gain anamnecytes, but I do know you can lose them by killing others in unprovoked attacks (unless you're Scum or a Cultist) or by making a mistake when doing math at the Ration Factory.

Die with less than 0 Anamnecytes for the Sisyphus Experience.
Karma is the rank system, it's not very clear, and from what I hear it's a relatively *new* system, when you gain Cytes you'll rank up, right, so when you go from Unskilled Wagie to Proud Worker, that's gaining Karma -- this is what I've gathered from their Discord, it's just the ranking system when you work well. you lose it by Killing people, dying, or being illegal I believe.

One of the new systems will use it at the Metal Works, you need to be at a certain rank or "Karma" level to get access to a free pipe, similar to how the Cortex get better weapons as they rank up.

I have no proof of this, it's everything being relayed to me from my friend and the Discord, hope that helps.

So far it seems like it isn't even so much a karma system at times or at least not only karma. I feel like the names are kind of impacted on what jobs you do the most too. I know I became a greasy wagee after a bunch of fishing and ration making and became a muscled one on a server I did a lot of mining.

Nope I meant exactly what I said. Karma is something that is said when you upgrade from controller. Sometimes im greeted with a message that says "You dont have enough karma" I know about anamnecytes thanks.
