I usually only end up switching to liquidator if I see the town is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mess tbh. If the town is *not* a mess then I switch to Scumbag and make it a mess.
But I digress; it would be nice if jobs depended on each other more.
as for contraband, it is HIGHLY lucrative and very easy to make a lot of money off of, though as it should be, it is dangerous, also as for not being able to defend yourself from the cortex, yeah, that's kinda the point also, if a highly armed soldier finds contraband on you and has orders to execute anyone with said contraband on sight then you need to stay out of his sight, if you don't you die, stick to the shadows, run away if they come after you, if they chase try to shake them, you're a smuggler, being anti-social is how you stay safe.
