Improve Welsh states
First off, massive respect to the developer for the monumental task of mapping out the entire world in Age of History 3—especially as a solo project! Overall, the game is fantastic, and I’m loving the attention to detail. I wanted to share a few thoughts on the Welsh states, where I think some tweaks could really enhance both immersion and historical accuracy.

The Welsh state names feel a bit messy and inconsistent right now, which detracts a bit from the experience. To improve this, I suggest using names inspired by the Principal Areas of Wales—this would provide a good balance between historical relevance and ease of recognition. You can find a helpful map in the “Principal Areas” section on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Counties_of_Wales

Some of the boundaries for welsh states feel a bit off, especially in the south. I'd recommend the "historic and administrative counties of wales" in the above disambiguation page link for boundaries that are historically relevant. There are 15 welsh states currently in the game, but only 13 in that historic and administrative counties map, so it might be better to use the four states from the "preserved counties of wales" map to replace south welsh states (states 4-1 from preserved counties would replace states 2-1 from the historic and administrative counties). This would total up to 15, and give wales the same number of states.

Alternatively, it would be fine if only the borders of south wales were changed to align with the historic and administrative counties map. I'm not from north wales, so if the state boundaries are wrong up there some native's going to have to point it out.

I know that balancing the map for gameplay is also key, and creating a global map as a solo developer is no small feat! The current method of naming states after major towns makes perfect sense, but if there’s room to revisit some of these Welsh names and borders, it would make for an improved experience (at least for me).

Thanks for reading my rant about Welsh geography! I realise there are probably more pressing improvements to focus on, but I wanted to share some ideas from a fanatical Welsh perspective. And, of course, if any of these suggestions are feasible, I’d be more than happy to contribute further to this area.
