CAN'T START THE GAME
Yesterday I played without any issues and was expecting the same today, but after it tried to install an update in the morning I've been unable to start the game. These are some of the situations that have had come up:
1) 0xE1 message error, indicating that there might be a virus within the files
2) The game is unable to validate the update due to aoh3.exe file missing from my game folder (which obviously I didn´t erasse, so I don't understand why that is appearing)
3) Mesage of error reading the disc

And I have tried repairing the game files, the library files, opening Steam as administrator, uninstalling and installing again not only the game, but Steam itself too, and yet, nothing seems to work out.

I have read some of the other discussions and I saw that some of you might have been facing a similar situation, so, has anyone found a proper solution yet?

Ah i have found the solution, check your virus and protection. The update seem to contain a file that microsoft deemed an unwated/virus file so just allowed it. Don't worry this file is also present in fortnite and children of light launcher. The file name should be PUA win32 gamehack, if you are still skeptical just do a swift read on the file it not anything serious.

Had the same issue 30 minutes ago but just allow it, it's a false positive

Directly go to the settings in Windows Defender and allow aoh3.exe to run.
