Age of history 3 is a virus? (IT IS NOT DEV MADE AN EXPLANATION)

Hello today i bought the game and played it about 1 hour then i left after that i wanted to play again BUT this time my antivirus (Kaspersky) told me that aoh3.exe has a trojan virus is that true or not? MY BAD DEV JUST MADE AN EXPLANATION FOR THAT YALL ARE SAFE NO WORRYS

Most likely not. Kaspersky detected it as a Dangerous Object due to Cloud Safety Issues. It's probably some Safety Issues, so Cloud saved Game Safe files can get lost easily. It's something Lukaz has to fix. It can't be a Virus for Logical reasons too: Making a Game with in-built Malware isn't a Good Marketing Strategy and won't do good to your Reputation.

It can still be a virus if dev isn't the one who actually made it. Maybe dev's pc is riddled with viruses and the game which he compiled got infected with one before being submitted to Steam. Also seeing as the most common advice is to turn protection off and many people follow it believing it's a false positive may mean that even if the game suffer in reputation someone can get more by utilizing the virus.

I am not scared of kaspersky's report which just says it's a dangerous object which means it's not classified so may actually be a false positive but some other antiviruses on virustotal detect a backdoor and a password stealer.

Anyway, it's on dev to solve the issue (for example, I believe that if he contacts kaspersky they can release an update to their databases which will stop detecting it if it's actually false positive). I will wait few days before trying it again. If the issue is still here, I will refund instead.

Yeah, Kaspersky just started a Desinfection on my PC, so maybe it's actually something Serious...
