lwjgl.dll Antivirus - Resolved by removing lwjgl.dll from the game
It is really not my fault that the game's lwjgl.dll library is flagged by the antivirus.
I have removed with update the problematic windows/x86/org/lwjgl/lwjgl.dll file from the game files, it was used only for 32 bit windows.
The problem with the antivirus has been resolved in the current version of the game.

Current detection status of the main game file:

Other games had the same problem:

More information about lwjgl.dll, which caused the problem and has already been removed from the game files:

Nowadays, I don't think there are many people making games using LWJGL.
LWJGL (Lightweight Java Game Library) is an open-source library that provides Java developers with access to high-performance, cross-platform libraries for creating 2D and 3D graphics, handling audio, and supporting input in game development.

I'm doing what I can to make sure everyone is able to play.

Yes I am getting this and Win 11 keeps quarantining and game keeps validating on Steam
Bro Win 11 decided to protect me from the very game I want to play

Uninstall windows so it doesn't interfere with the game.

I think I found a solution (for win11):

1. Install the beta lwjgl3 (windows defender should not alert anymore)

2. Change the setting of how aoh3.jar is going to be opened ---> choose that aoh3.jar should be opened with aoh3.exe

3. Tell me if it works for you

Have a nice day and stay safe!

All right, guys, you guys do what you want, but I'm gonna go play. I got my own way that's more efficient.

Wait, there was a 32-bit version of AoC2? Wasn't Windows version only 64-bit?

Thank you for your hard work. This looks like an amazing game and I will re download it once the update has been posted. Always a worry when a virus pops up in a scan even though it's probably a false positive.

Keep up the work, can't wait to play again.

Is the game back to normal yet? Or are still having that trojan problem and it won't open with the .exe?
guys you can just set an exception in windefender

Here's a solution to the problem:
1) Temporarily (while the files are downloading) add the Steam directory to the antivirus exclusion.
2) In the game properties select beta version lwjgl3
3) Upload the game to steam
4) Delete the files: “aoh3.jar” and “aoh3.exe” from the game directory.
5) Remove Steam directory from antivirus exclusion.
6) Make sure that “history2020.exe” in the catalog with the game does not contain a virus.
7) Run the game with “history2020.exe”.

Author of the game, please remove from the beta version of “aoh3.jar” and “aoh3.exe” they interfere with the loading of the game.

There is a trojan in the Java File

Don't use the beta! Update the game to newest version.

Use this option to run the game without the need to install Java when launching the game:
