LWJGL - Windows Defender alert -> lwjgl.dll
The problem is with lwjgl.dll. I really don't know what to do because this file is essential for running the game engine.

Here is more information about this virus problem not only in the Age of History 3:
https://github.com/libgdx/gdx-liftoff/issues/207
https://github.com/LWJGL/lwjgl3/issues/1005

The lwjgl.dll file is a dynamic link library (DLL) that is part of the Lightweight Java Game Library (LWJGL), providing native access to high-performance graphics, audio, and input for Java-based games and applications.

I have removed with update the problematic windows/x86/org/lwjgl/lwjgl.dll file from the game files.
The game can now only be run as a aoh3.jar - Java file.

If you don’t have Java installed, you can download it here:
https://www.java.com/en/download/
or:
https://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

If doesn't help:
Uninstall Java with the Java Uninstall Tool and make sure all old versions are uninstalled. Reinstall latest version of Java. Game should run fine after that.

The exe file is no longer available.
Please let me know if this helps!

Yesterday's version won't help because it uses the same lwjgl.dll file.
I think it is a false positive, but very serious, and I can't do anything until Windows Defender does something with it...

Why do all 4 antivirus programs on my computer give a trojan warning every time I press play?
we'll wait for more update Lukasz
Definitely not a good look.. We'll wait and see how this goes I guess
ive looked around and ive seen that even in 2011 its was being flagged as false positive when its necessary for minecraft idk if you still need it nowadays for minecraft tho but i assume youd run into the same issue
for those wondering if this game is the only case:
https://github.com/libgdx/libgdx/issues/7506
no need to panic. there is no virüses in the aoh 3 . calm down.
We'll have to resort to piracy to avoid viruses lol
My problem is that even Steam has this false positive, so I just can't open the game. I sincerely wish you luck in solving this problem Lukas, as it doesn't seem to be something simple.
isn't it funny how after the 14 day refund period, the game randomly contains a trojan virus? surely it is a false positive right? no, i refuse to believe it this time. it's already the second time this game has a virus inside it.

this sketchy "developer" made sure the 14-day refund period passed, and then began sending trojan to people who bought his game and wanted to support him. i guess he got mad that he's not selling well so tears dripping down his face made him put a trojan in his game, great. and somehow steam is okay with this.

make sure you mass-report this game and all other of his games, it's clear that this guy's intention are to hack people and steal their information by using trojans. as i said, no false positive here, he keeps trying to run viruses inside his game. it's already the second time.

Trojan:Win32/Vigorf.A

I don't think we would try hacking everyone, if it was his intentions to get an virus inside everyones computer, he would already be banned, and also he has a perfectly good game, almos every rating of the game in like steam, youtube or any other site is positive, so I dont think he'd risk it all
