Stuck with angry monkey (Leonard)

I already opened the passage and I have 2 monkeys which are my friends but not Leonard the painter. Somehow I upseted him and can't change his mood (currently very angry)

- I already fed him so he is not hungry anymore.
- he doesn't want anything: ocarina, paint, food, birds, lizard, vase, perfume, etc.
- cuddle, etc. doesn't work either.

I'm so stuck and don't want to start everything from the beginning T-T
Any idea what to do? Going back to the passage and trying to fight the monkeys doesn't work :(
