I think I might know something that we the protag are not human but some sort of insect- from the area "daddy's bad place" the tv say's "the insect may appear to you as a human, it is not" and after completing it- we did grow some bug like wings. also what I notice is the thrait women at the starting point...starting point, could that be our starting point? and could the thrait women be worried about us being lead astrayed by the vermin dogs, the dogs being the one we see in the tutorial and the one in the desert during the epilogue.

I'm just making some connections that I think makes sense to me but so far I think we're dealing with more than a schizo women here
