Return Fable III to Steam
The game used to be in Steam. Microsoft holds the rights. Just add it back before the new one comes out.

There is a way to play it on Steam with a Steam key, but is a pain to get working.

I'd buy if it was officially added to the store. Don't understand what's blocking them

What sort of? Microsoft owns the brand. There's no music or smth to license, like in racing or GTA games. They managed to add it to BC list and added fps boost on Xbox. Licensing must not be a problem

I meant licensing for the Fables between Valve and Microsoft. I don't know why they took Fable 3 off the Steam store. Fable and Fable 3 were developed for PC, Fable 2 wasn't. Maybe porting Fable 2 is what held all this back for this many years? Microsoft probably didn't see it worth porting in the end since it would have been done if they did.
We might get surprised with all 3 on Steam nearer this Fable's release to build up hype hopefully.

Sorry, but this makes little sense. Valve has nothing to do with Fable licensing.

Maybe I am using the wrong word then, again I don't know why they took it down, was it so it was only on "Games for Window live" for PC?

Ahhh the good ol "games for windows live" service that was a bunch of trouble back then and still causing trouble today long after being shut down. I beat Fable III once many years ago and still remember the GFWL stuff being annoying.

Rock$tar removed GFWL from GTA IV so they can do it too

Well, a poor excuse, given how many games managed to drop these shackles

Is this game third one? I don't know a lot about this franchise

This one is forth. But it's sort of a reboot

Not trying to make an excuse for them, just thought it was funny.

its not the 4th, its a reboot/remake. if it was 4th entry it would be titled as such
