Best way to farm orbs?

Does anyone have a trick for this? I really want to max out all my basic passives but I have nowhere near enough lvl 1 orbs. Party is around level 20 and I just got to the last world map.

If you're truly on the last map (meaning that you've defeated Felwyn), you can straight up buy magic orbs in the item shop.

If you instead mean you're in Tekkair (which seems more likely given the level 20) ... the only way to 'farm' orbs is random encounters, which is hopelessly inefficient. Just keep looking for blue chests; there's more than enough orbs in them to fill out a full party's ability list and all their useful passives.

The postgame is coming any day now, and in it your orb problems should be over, too.

Thanks! Yeah I just got to Tekkair and am getting my butt kicked in Dahrk Palace so wanted to try and power up. I guess I’ll grind some levels.

Dhark Palace is the hardest location in Tekkair, and there's actually nothing vital in its basement. Feel free to come back later, or even skip it entirely if it's debuffs / enemies are ruining your day.

Also, Ephiam just announced on Discord when the postgame is coming out: February 10th. So you've got two weeks to finish~

I ended up slogging it out and completely cleared Dhark Palace. Now my party seems pretty OP haha. The huge number of orbs you find in there really helped as now 3 of my 4 characters have the extra turn.

The xp you get in Dhark Palace can have you gaining several levels for sure. Fortunately, my lineup has a Warrior and Monk that can dish out lot of physical damage and another member in my party has 366% item power so he's the official item healer of the group and can do some dmg with normal attack, so magic isn't needed allowing me to just seal off magic command and stick to attack command.

My 4th is magic user though and she ends up just observing the other 3 do work and cheer the other 3 on or throw occasional healing item.

There definitely lot of orbs in there. Only other way to get lot of orbs is using item drop rate accessory or class and nuke the enemies quickly as possible (high AGL and dmg if possible) and usually fighting the easier or less annoying mobs while at it.
