hmm, 6 hours is indeed very short. Should be on Gamepass or available for 10 bucks. With that short of time i assume there is also no character progression, crafting!?!

No, this isn't an RPG or survival game so there's none of that. You can collect permanent health and ammo capacity upgrades throughout the game, but that's the extent of the character progression (aside from the special tools you collect as part of the game's metroidvania design, of course).
