Anyone know how to get the Ryzer Greataxe from Bularr Fortress?
The wiki says it's a 100% drop rate from the boss chest, but I ran the boss over and over and over, by now over seven times, and haven't gotten it once. Anything I'm missing?

The wiki drop rates aren't accurate, because of how drop rates actually work in this game. There's MULTIPLE "100% drop chance" items that can come out of that chest, but the game only picks 1. I don't think anyone has actually ran the math on how the drop rates ACTUALLY work. (One of the mod community members has pulled the internal drop tables for multiple things and it's all kinds of confusing.)

But yeah the axe drops from that chest, RNG just be RNG.

My understanding is that the "drop rate" actually has to do with the chance of being discarded after being drawn from the drop table following a shuffle.

Imagine the drop table like a deck of cards. When you get some loot, the deck is shuffled and you draw the topmost loot table entry. You then roll a die; if the die falls outside of the listed drop rate, then that loot entry is discarded and you draw another. If it falls within, then you get that piece of loot.
Yeah, its just luck tbh. From experience, the greataxe seems to be one of the more common boss drops, so you should probably get it soon. It's not much of an upgrade off of quake pummelr though, so don't sweat it too hard.

That is one way of describing how it works. To describe it another way, incase someone finds this explanation easier to understand:

The game shuffles the drop table, sets up a quota (1 equip, 1 trade, 2 consumable, etc.), then goes straight down the shuffled list, rolling for each individual item until the quota is met.

A 100% drop rate means if that item is reached, it will drop. But the list is random, so another item could've dropped first and filled the quota.

To create a simplified example:

Loot table:
A - 50% - Equipment
B - 25% - Equipment
C - 100% - Equipment
D - 80% - Trade
E - 100% - Trade

Quota:
1 Equipment
2 Trade

Randomize:
C
D
E
B
A

Run the numbers:
C is guaranteed, 1/1 Equipment, quota met
D rolls, misses, 0/2 Trade
E is guaranteed, 1/2 Trade
B is skipped, 1/1 Equipment
A is skipped, 1/1 Equipment
C is skipped, 1/1 Equipment
D rolls, hits, 2/2 Trade, quota met
All quota met, end rolling

Final result:
C x1
D x1
E x1
Ah. I never actually thought much on it. Plenty of axe drops throughout my playtime. But I was more busy hunting the Horn helmet drop. Never actually wound up using that in the end.
You just have to keep grinding that area it's complete RNG but it will drop
