Cant enter boss rooms
Coming back to the game after a little bit, suddenly not able to enter boss arenas after beating their respective dungeons while playing with friends. i do not get a "waiting for player" message, and am unable to enter the boss rooms despite my partymates being able to. please advise

Was helped on the discord but I'll recap here:

This is a known bug, but people are unsure of cause. We're currently testing and running diagnostics on it. Best guess right now is that it's some weird bug with being the host of the server AND being a party lead causing your party members to have a chance of not being able to enter the boss arena with you. If you're not host, but you are the party leader we don't have any instance reported of this happening.
I've been trying to re-create it so I can report my findings but still can't figure out what exactly causes it.

It's happened to me, as a party member trying to enter while the leader wasn't a host, and it's happened to a party member while i was party leader but not host, both in catacombs. In both cases the person who got left behind joined the dungeon fairly late, so it might have something to do with that.

Yeah ran tests and none of this caused issues with who I was testing with. So far the cause is: Inconclusive. Since no matter what I did no issue happened, but they've had issues with other people.

Server mods maybe?
from what i could gauge, the times it happened to me were while dashing, so from my understanding if your moving into the teleport too quickly it seems to cause you to miss the teleport trigger, or something along those lines. not sure if this is accurate, but its the only time i've not been teleported, and im not sure if it applies to everyone or just those that aren't the host.
Just experienced this bug. Hosted a lobby, invited two friends through the Steam Shift+Tab menu, partied up, and played from the beginning of the game to the medium-difficulty Catacombs. One of them couldn't enter the boss room, and having him save/quit didn't fix it.
Hello! Adding my 2 cents here if this helps with reproducing the issue, playing with my wife and i'm getting this bug. This is what we're doing:

1. Wife hosts the session and invites me via the Steam invite
2. She becomes party leader, and we start running Catacombs on Medium/Hard difficulty
3. First time never seems to be an issue ever when we enter
4. Hand in the 'Consumed Madness' and 'Eradicating the Undead' quest repeatable if done
5. Rerun catacombs and get to boss teleport
6. Teleport doesn't work for the non-host (me)

I dont recall exactly but i feel like it never happens the first and second time, but it feels like the third one is where it breaks
Prior to the December update, the game used to wait for everyone in the party to show up to the portal before teleporting everyone in. This system had a failsafe that would reopen the portal as soon as the boss fight started. With the introduction of wall portals, I think this system had to be changed. And a bug with the player checks was probably introduced because of this.

There are definitely some quirks in the Atlyss netcode, specifically with how hosts/singleplayer is treated differently than clients. It's also what makes glitches like the fly glitch possible.
I have only had this happened with vertical portals specifically, and when it happened once while I was in the portal with another person and one other person stuck outside, our party leader had rushed in and started the fight before our last member could get in the portal.

I'm not sure if that is what caused it, but that was the first and only time I saw it happen from the inside.
