ATLYSS
PSA: Back up your character data *BEFORE* using a public test build.
Just wanted to state this, because people seem to be making a lot of bug reports for corrupted characters and then lamenting that their precious save data is gone. Don't be one of those people.

SO. Right-click Atlyss, go to Manage, then Browse Local Files, then find the "ATLYSS_Data" folder, then make a copy of the "ProfileCollections" folder. Do this BEFORE you even launch the public test build, lest you end up completely and irreversibly destroying your save.

Potential save corruption as data structures in a game change and aren't finalised/don't have a clear migration path is part of the nature of developer builds; Thus, one should always keep this in mind and be prepared.

Don't be stupid, protect your save data.

Yeah, game's worth grinding again imo as long as you have people to help alleviate the repeat dungeon runs.

My friend just brought me the news about the beta branch update and then IMMEDIATELY jumped into it before i was able to warn him that Kiseff himself strongly advises to backup your save data before doing this. :lunar2019crylaughingpig:
(He didn't understand Kiseff's warning because of his poor English :lunar2019crylaughingpig:)
