It's also a big reason why people are asking why we got texture mods before level and gear mods. If you grinded gear with bepinex and dropped it to a file that didn't, it could literally corrupt their save or do nothing without error handling. And who would grind gear nobody but them could see?
Meanwhile texture mods are just that, textures. No leveling or level and mob creation, just a texture. It's not conventional sure but there's a massive difference modding singleplayer and making singleplayer campaigns vs error handling multi player i hear.
