I have noticed this, and it gimps Bow usage pretty harshly depending on specs.

Ah, I was just about to make a thread about this but seems this bug is known if there's already a thread about it.

I have a 144hz monitor but I cap my framerate at 60 since some physics in certain games get a bit iffy at higher frames and I was wondering why my bow attack speed was being inconsistent with it's attacks. (It was firing a few frames slower than usual at 60.)

I can run the game fine at 144 frames with no issue. Hopefully it's looked into.

It's really frustrating and why I stopped playing. Hope it can be fixed. I hope this can be moved to bug reports too.

Yeah, it is annoying... In solo you take Mastery of Bows on Bandit class and like "wow, that's a good stuff" but after that you go into multiplayer with bad ping and see that the attack speed is slowed down so hard you switch to melee build instead. If you have good specs and good internet in multiplayer - don't worry, you will not notice any slowness with the bow

even with great specs/internet you are never going to reach full potential in a multiplayer game, especially as more players enter a server. i've noticed that no matter how great someone's rig is, the game fps will incrementally lower as more players join and it's likely a game limitation on the host side of things.

until the developer changes the way firing the bow is handled in the code this game is relatively unplayable for anyone who wants to use the bow online. it's really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ frustrating that it hasn't been acknowledged because it is an EXTREMELY debilitating difference in attack speed and is the ONLY reason i'm not still playing this otherwise great game

Absolutely true. For now i use bow purely for 2 skills, the main character with Bandit class uses Venom Shot against high hp enemies and as good DoT in PvP (After Pay Day of course), and the second Venom Shot and Spread Shot as they are simply good damage output in dungeons and help in PvP. Just shooting the bow is bad option outside of Singleplayer
