im not sure what they are officially called, but i would also like if the buffed monsters would appear more. maybe a dungeon difficulty where they all have buffs
If the level cap is, lets say, 80. Once you hit 80 and have completed the main quest line, the Ultimate Dungeons open up.
Each one is *significantly* harder, a real challenge for a level 80. Then, maybe when you complete one, it either bumps you to 81, or it gives you gear that is almost needed for the next dungeon in line.
Or something like that, it really could work a lot of ways.
PSO had Ultimate difficulty, which was open to anyone who beat Very Hard. Every monster was remodeled and some of them, especially the bosses, had new abilities.
That'd be really cool to see, but it's a lot of work! I'd be satisfied with just hard mode dungeons.
The main reason I'd like to see some stuff like this is because, so far, Atlyss has brought me back years. I feel like I'm playing a game from my childhood again. It's very comfortable.
The gratification of discovery, the old-school secrets you'd find as a kid, the feeling of "OK, whats next after that boss?", is something I value and cherish in media. Atlyss already was making me feel that in spades and it's very special to me.
So I figured I'd just share the ideas I'd have for fun. Share some of the little things I find joy in, in the hopes some of you guys do too!
I'm hoping Atlyss turns out great. I really love what it is so far. It's managed to evoke an old, nostalgic feeling from me that I cherish greatly.
Thanks for reading, by the way :)
