Money drop bug

I was trying to see if there was a way to send some crowns from a character to another via Spike the storage box, and I noticed the icon nearby the crowns that allows you to drop a certain amount of coins (up to 9999). I dropped 9999, which ended up on the floor... and to my dismay, picking them back up resulted into nothing. I tried with single crowns drop, and it always happened the same... you have a shiny object sitting on the floor with no icon, and when you go to pick it up, it adds nothing to your inventory.

TL;DR I just lost 9999 crowns and probably found a bug!

Eventually, I'm sure, but as it stands it seems to be hit and miss with the prevalence of the bug. Idk if there's a (serverside) mod that fixes it.

Yeah, it is a bug of current version of the game and it only affects singleplayer. For some reason it works fine in multiplayer and you can pick your own money with no problem
