Switching weapon types
Are there any practical builds for classes that utilize using an attribute stone to change a weapon's type to another? I really have found a use for this feature so far but maybe there is an OP build i havent found yet?

If you wanna be a Bandit who prefers tanking instead of dodging, consider investing on a Dexterity-scaled sword and a shield. Unlike katars, swords actually have a practical AOE charge attack and may be worth using over them if you like playing more carelessly.

Alternatively, if you truly wanna be a glass cannon, katars are tailor made for DPS, meaning you could possibly get a mileage out of scaling them to Strength instead of Dexterity.

You can get away with rescaling anything, honestly, just uh... be sure to pick a high tier weapon to rescale instead of wasting a stone on something that'll become outclassed by other readily available weapons of the same type that happen to be statistically better.

Bandit Byrdle can rescale hammer and use the Byrdle skill to get big damage off charged attacks if you don't want to invest in Bomb Trap. I opted for Polearms on my bandit and they feel better to use than Katars due to greater reach and a charge attack which actually covers ground.

Mystics can take advantage of sword and shield well enough if you're using the close range oriented spells to still effectively defend yourself.

Fighters can use enchantment to get a ranged option for a little more flexibility. Bells feel like a fun secondary for my fighter.

Ultimately it just makes for more player choice, even if the weapon you choose isn't optimal for whatever reason.

Mystic + Heavy Melee makes for a very solid paladin. Nova, and Fluxspear are notable for being good melee range skills to pair with it. Inner Focus is also quite good with it, as you can make hammer do upwards of 300+ damage in a single hit in a fairly large radius with charged attack.
I'd say the main benefit of this build is that you can run Divine as a melee attacker without needing to invest in a third stat.
