Why'd my inventory disappear?
Everything was fine until Beta 1.6.0b (The most recent release as of this post). I load up my Chang Bandit character file that beat the colossus & head back into the grove. I get hit by one of the spinning spike traps, and my ENTIRE INVENTORY disappears - weapons, armor, consumables, everything. I close and reopen the game, everything's fine, like I never went back into the dungeon. Nothing I did in game mattered - even recalling back to the sanctum didn't work as it softlocked the game to the point where I needed to close and reopen the game entirely.

But ever since that initial hiccup, I've been hesitant to load this game up again. The previous version didn't have this issue, and it's very important to not lose your whole inventory upon getting hit once by a silly little dungeon trap.

I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this issue, but it's disheartening to have your weapon that you built up to finally take down the colossus after dying 30x in the same fight just vanish out of nowhere.

I have tried to replicate this by hitting the same spike trap in the grove dungeon, but it did not repeat the glitched / bugged state.

Honestly I just disabled steam cloud and save my game as often as possible. I also manually save the entire "profile collections" folder (basically the save game folder) very often and have multiple backups. I have not had any issues yet, and I'm hoping I never do.
I exited out of the game in a hurry by closing the game's window without saving, and the same inventory bug happened to me.

I just loaded into the game and my stuff was gone. But it was only the inventory and my skill points, not my loot placed in storage.

Lesson learned on my part: always save before exiting, and keep spare loot in storage just in case.

Sadly I did have to restart my character since my skillpoints were all reset to zero but my character was level 13 and I couldn't get them back. Thankfully this game is still in early access without much content. If this happened on a 1000+ hour MMO I'd be legitimately mad.
