[SUGGESTION] PM/DM messages, Party Chat, @'ing and gear linking in Chat.

As the title. I'd appreciate solving some of the chaos of General. Whether it be people ERPing for the whole server, or conversations getting lost because of other conversations overlapping, or people not paying attention to what party members are saying through all the other stuff. No need for the game to feel like 2005 Barrens Chat.

I used to wonder how these massive ERP servers with like 30+ people in them get by with only 3 globally accessible chat channels and one channel for every zone. "Do they just overlap and sift through other people's garbage if there aren't enough zones for them to spread out into?", I would ponder. And now I suppose I have the answer - they do. Ecks Dee.

On the contrary, I think 2005 Barrens Chat is a cherished relic of the past and its spirit must be allowed to live on. I would agree with at least a party chat, however.

They full on do. You'd think they'd at least add/dm on Steam or somethin, but nope. They just do it up right in Global. Don't even take it to Zone or CH #1/#2.

Ye, if they do that out in the open on a regular server - no chat updates are gonna help keep their filth out of the public eye, since they do it on purpose. If they don't belong, I'd either get the host to punt these degenerates or at least attempt to personally bully them into suic- I mean, leaving the server. And if they do belong, well, there's always another lobby around the corner.

Just use the zone chat and go to the wall of stars, I'm sure Craig will let them use the empty back area no questions asked. General chat should NEVER be used for ERP even on a designated server. It sounds like a nightmare sifting through who's talking and keeping it consistent with you're trying to get down with.

A party-only chat would be great, if anything for pary raid groups. Then just so that a raiding party wont spam the other chat tabs. Usually not a problem in the smaller and private servers, but some of the big ones. (One being up to 100 players) it can get messy. (esp with the ERP) No kinkshame for the exhibitionists and voyeurs.

They wanna have an audience, fine. Let em use zone or maybe also add a Local chat with a short range or somethin. I don't wanna be in Grove with people and my feed is flooded by people sitting in Sanctum slappin asses. lol
