PS4 Controller Issue
PS4 controller doesn't work properly. You can only walk around or just to attack without being able to move. On 24 January it was working fine

I'm using a custom edit I made for Steam input and selected KB+M as the in game setting, all because native controller support was always wacky to me. I'm using a PS5 gamepad connected through an 8bitdo bluetooth adapter to make it show as an xbox controller.

KBM would be the better input method for PC gaming, even though I admit I never really learned to use it. I went with what I have because I didn't want to lose the xbox controller compatibility, but the controller itself was extremely noisy. It was beginning to be very annoying because I play at low volume. The PS5 controller is among the quietest I've seen out there. It's far from perfect for me, but it's at least a decent device.

You really ought to learn, it is not hard and so rewarding. I couldn't imagine playing games like this or first person shooters with out Kb+M. Just ridiculous. Like running in heavy boots as opposed to running shoes.

I hardly ever play first person games nowadays (even though I have almost all Doom games in my Steam account) Most, if not all games I play nowadays are console ports or console friendly stuff like platformers and third person action games, which play as good on gamepads. Sure, it's not that I didn't try to learn KBM back when I was a little healthier and could sit on a gaming chair and a desk with the proper posture back in the day, but health issues caught up with me before I could fully master it. Perhaps if a couch KBM setup can be made so my back is safe while playing...

Also, my real life job requires me to run in heavy boots. One of the reasons for the health issues..
