Your argument is basically:
"I'm going to just assume that you are demanding that all of your feedback should be put into the game immediately (even though you never said that, but this makes it easy for me to accuse you of asking for something unreasonable), It also takes a very long time for very inefficient multi-billion-dollar corporations (that are often completely out of touch with the reality of what their customers actually want) to implement things (based solely on extremely vague and loosely defined time schedules that the public will likely never truly understand in any relevant level of detail) (because how can we even know specifically how long it took a corporation to implement one specific feature?) and also I'm really worried that the developer will listen to you, so you're wrong so stop talking about your feedback because you just HAVE TO because I really REALLY disagree."
Why should I even reply anymore if all you have to offer are official sounding statements that crumble if anyone asks any questions? You're trying to grandstand and appeal to authority, but it's based on pure assumptions. You're only interested in getting your point across, with no regard to if it's actually true or not.
You make a really good point. It doesn't even have to be about shields. Just the idea of sliding is very fun. But I do hope Atlyss eventually one day has some kind of sledding or boat mechanic where players can get into a boat or sled together and slide down a snowy mountain or surf down an underground erupting volcano's lava flow in a collapsing cave.
It's just a fun idea, but I have no expectations of it ever becoming reality.
That would be awesome!
What kinds of dungeons are you hoping for in Atlyss?
Also, none of these things are really specific enough to be subject to copyright.
