Wow, sounds incredible!
Especially if it doesn't occupy a skill slot. Does it?
You can definitely make Fighter's arsenal work with Bandit's and vice versa, but Mystic is the weird one and requires experimentation.
It's a passive (Blink), it's always on you once you invest in it as long as you've got the mana for it.
Oh i used the katars as a starting weapon, so that isn't a worry. I just wanted to know if bells worked with the general skillset given.
Sounds a bit unbalanced.
My usual pick in almost every RPG is non-magic ranged damage dealers, but i'm seriously considering picking a mystic in this game...
Bell mastery just gives charge attack, current strongest Bell's charge attack isn't very good compared to the normal attack. Bell as a secondary should be fine without any skills as long as you change the typing.
I would recommend a longer range secondary over Bell if your main weapon is melee, unless you have enough skill to avoid attacks and parry full groups.
Bandit also gets Agile Technique which gives you a triple jump, long jump, and bounce. I'd say Bandit has more overall mobility than Mystic, but Blink can go farther in one go than long jump.
Fighter doesn't get a passive mobility tool, but their parries do reflect damage.
...and to be completely honest, there's a thread here every couple days espousing one class as having the best DPS period. It's a good sign of the game's balance that no one can agree on which class is best.
Every class can use the same melee weapons. The only difference between Fighter and Mystic are the following:
Fighter has damage reflect on parry
Longer parry timing window
Less stamina to block
Best DPS skill based on CD-to-DPS added in Blood Gush
Mystic has teleport
Self heal
Increase MP regen
Best AOE dps and healing with Divine
Default best stat scaling because most general skills scale with Mind
Can use the same melee weapons as everyone else
Gets burn scaling off Mind for Flamepetal Wand
Best melee DPS outside Blood Gush for Fighter is jump attacks anyways
Difference between Mystic using Divine and Fighter using Blood Gush barely puts Fighter as having more DPS
But Mystics better in every other way outside of that.
And Bandits just have serious issues.
These factors are important to consider.
I'm unsure whether all weapons are physical crit, weapons are physical crit if they scale off of str or dex and magic crit if they scale off mind, or if scepters and bells are magic crit while the rest are physical crit. This is highly important for figuring out to determine cross class scaling. If scepters and bells are *always* magic crit, Mystic will *always* deal the most damage with the weapon itself.
