I humbly request that an update later in the future adds housing.
In a future update, it would be so cool if we could use Crowns to purchase houses and furniture for the houses. There could be a little portal at the Sanctum to take you to either your house, or to any of the houses of anyone else online in the lobby (with the house owner getting to set permissions for who can and can't come in, possibly). This could add a lot to the social aspect of the game.

its a little ambitious, but definitely would love this idea.
For houses, you could probably do it as a plaza with [player count] slots, and when a player joins, their house is erected in that space. player 2 house appears in slot 2, etc.

ambitious, yes. thats why this request is for the future, not now. it might be too much for now.

I second this as a goal for the far future

Very good idea

A player house located in a remote place (like a small floating island) and only accessible from a teleporter in Sanctum is actually what I had in mind as a good way to implement such a feature.

Would definitely be a nice addition so we no longer have to be pint-sized hobos :B

Housing is a HUGE ask. I get wanting it but unless you literally just want a personal map like the lake with no customization or anything, I'm gonna say that's a no go. It's the same kinda deal as that "chao garden-like" suggestion a few days ago. You'd be asking for an entirely separate system to be built upon the game, that's only used there, and requires essentially an entire separate code foundation to be implemented. The game isn't built with support for these kinds of things in mind, so on top of all that you'd be asking for Kiseff to modify the game so these new systems don't royally screw up the base game.

The most i could see with the current build of the game is essentially making a dungeon, but it's just an instanced house... and that's the whole extent.

i understand it's a huge ask. thats why i meant it for like the far future, not for right now.

Still would be nice to have a place with more storage. Poor Spike only has so much storage room, and it's even further cluttered by the fact that it's shared across all saves.

to be fair the game is structured like an mmo, and mmos generally have all your characters sharing storage

I do like some of the weapon designs, shame you can't make those vanity items. Displaying them on walls in your home would be good too.

you cant make them vanity items, *yet.
some games managed to do it so it's possible.
yo imagine if you could hang unused weapons on the wall of your in-game house like a display case.

To the best of my knowledge, this is not the developer of Atlyss- So you should never throw away your hopes and dreams too soon just because somebody else doesn't like it.
The truth is that we really don't know what Kiseff (developer) might add in future updates. Do I think this will happen? I have no idea. Nobody knows. But I would rather encourage your cool idea rather than discourage it because the thread will flourish with the discussion of all kinds of possibilities, and I think that's always worth the discussion. (even if it never gets added to the game, It's much better to have a thread full of fun ideas than what amounts to essentially no thread at all) I sincerely hope that you were not discouraged, and that you make more threads whenever you have any imaginative ideas, because you never know when others will find your ideas interesting. There are plenty of people who think your idea is awesome, and I'm one of them!

I also think it would be cool if everyone got their own personal storage with more space like Sally has at her shop.
