Katar warrior is even viable?

Hello, i like doing some weird builds, like having a bandit with polearms and a mystic who uses a one-hand sword, i was thinking about doing a warrior with ranged weapons, aka bows, seeing that most of warrior's skills requires a melee weapon that obliterated all my dreams of having a bow warrior (that won't stop me from trying tho).

So i was thinking, for another option, does katars works with warrior? Did anyone else tried to make it work? Thanks in advance for the attention

Should be fine, you'll just lose out on Shield Bash and Cyclone. I could give zero ♥♥♥♥♥ about Cyclone. And you can always have a shield sidearm to use the shield bash with a weapon swap (it can do it automatically, but you have to manually swap back to katar).

You can use Cyclone as long as you have a heavy weapon in your secondary slot. Using Cyclone with Katars will automatically swap to your secondary and use the skill. You can then swap to Katars and use them while Cyclone is active.

Ditto with Shield Bash.

Basically if a skill has a weapon requirement and you are using a weapon that is incompatible, but your secondary equipped weapon is compatible then you will swap weapons when you use the skill.
