You can just press the button on the chest slider and you get your flat chest that way.
Also gives you the option of giving male characters boobs if that's what you want.

That just gives the male chest, we are just asking for smaller chest on the slider. The smallest is still really big :/

The 'male/female' selection actually doesn't change anything, they're just a few defaults for sliders; both sexes use the same models, parts, animations, and are referred to the same way in dialog. The only thing the toggle affects is the presence of breasts, which you can also toggle via the button for 'chest'.

So just toggle that off and you can easily make a flat char.

This. Just about everything else including the way that clothing gets rendered on your characters is pretty androgynous, so it stands to reason that other factors like choice of eye/face options, proportions, etc. are more impactful to identity.

It's best to think of it less as a 'male/female' option and more a 'melons? y/n' option.

You're wrong if you think the Atlyss playerbase doesn't have significant overlap with Midna enjoyers.
