[Suggestion] Bandit and Mystic could use a 3rd weapon
So warrior has 3 weapons, 1 is one handed, 2 are two-handed. But Mage has only 1 of each and bandit has 2 two-handed weapons. Ideally, all 3 classes have an equal amount of weapon choice.

For example, Bandits could get something like a rapier as a one handed, dex-scaling weapon. Alternatively, we could get a hand crossbow as a 1 handed ranged weapon instead.

Meanwhile for mystic, perhaps something like a grimoire/spellbook as another two handed weapon that is faster than the bell? Maybe focusing on inflicting debuffs or lingering damage? Just throwing out ideas

What is bandit's third weapon? I only know about bows and katars.

That's what the entire thread is about chief. They only have 2 but warrior has 3 weapons. Warrior has Polearms, Heavy weapons and swords. Bandit only has Katars and Bows. Mystics only have Scepters and Bells. Both are missing a third weapon choice

If weapon mastery and scaling were still stuck to specific classes I'd agree.
But they're not and unless you're trying to use a weapon specific skill (Bow, heavy weapon, and shield are the only ones with very specific requirements)
Using Bandit as an example. You can use Killer Jab and Payday with a Sword, Hammer or Spear. Swap it to Dex with a stone (Which are fixed in the next patch) and there ya go. three more weapons for Bandit that can use their skills. One of which is Sword, which is One Handed. Which means you can Sword and Shield Bandit.

I could see a third weapon being introduced as a part of the second advancement classes.
Two-handed staves with casts that start at a distance out instead of a launched projectile, meaning distance is key, could be fun for mystic.

As for Bandit, with katars and bows being both short and long range single-hit fast weapons, a mid-range multi-hit being a bit slower wouldn't do wrong. chain and sickle perhaps.

Yes but this kind of gameplay is kind of hard locked until at least level 7 (to gamble for stat stones), if stat change stones could be bought directly from the shop it would be easier to swallow since you're constantly changing your weapon as you level.

Also unless staff/bells also worked with the Bandit's ranged skills, bandit needs at least 1 more ranged weapon option. I'd prefer if the existing mystic weapons worked with the skills though, that would be a neat gameplay choice.

I do still think mystics could use another two handed magical weapon since they have less options for weapon choice. Or give mystics a reason to consider using melee weapons.

Thing is these ways of playing that feel like breaking the rules are implicitly always going to be a mid-game or second-playthrough kind of thing.
The fact we're even talking about this means we've reached the point where we can even see this as a thing.

Bandit does have a reason to use Both Bow and Bell/Staff since they do different types of damage. Magic damage absolutely destroys Golem enemies who resist Physical. So swapping between them for certain enemies could be a strategy employed by a ranged Bandit. Bell is also just great AoE which Bandit doesn't really have good versions of. (Bomb tends to miss the fastest enemies, and Arrow Volley is just... it makes me sad to think about)

Mystics can use melee pretty well. (back in the Itch demo before I actually understood scaling I used a Heavy Weapon a lot lol)
I was trying out spinning into groups with Heavy Weapon when I found out you can cancel the spin mid-air with a block. So I started spinning into waves of enemies and then block-canceling into Nova'ing them away for more speeen. It also gives you access to the charged slam that absolutely SENDS enemies FLYING. Goodbye getting crowded on Nova/Fluxspear CD!
Sword has a flying speen that's great for movement. That and Blink made me nearly un-catch-able.
Spear has... Actually thinking about it I've *never* used a spear... Gonna fix that later...

Anyways the point is when you're at the time in the game where you can consider these things it's not that hard to set up. You don't have to spreadsheet everything from the start. stats and abilities are extremely easy to reset. The only permanent (that honestly shouldn't be) thing in this game is choosing a class.

Personally I'd like to see a Chakram for the 3rd native dex weapon, low range but returns to you after throwing it.
