Ranged attacks wildly inacurate
I've been messing around with ranged attacks like rock throw and bows and my shots are going WAY off course. It's pretty much like trying to no scope in COD of all things, the projectiles come out at like a 45 degree angle. If anyone has a solution that would be appreciated. I've tried holding strafe and that doesn't help.

EDIT: Latest hotfix has fixed the bug for me. It it persists for anyone else feel free to keep using this discussion thread.

Got it; I'm on Win 10 still, so I'm not sure if it's an OS-specific issue. I have two monitors, and I'm running the game on the "main" one, not sure if that would matter.

I wouldn't put it past windows 11 to break something.

still bugged games trash

You do realize that the game just released into early access right? I knew there would be weird jank when I bought the game, I knew what I was signing up for when I paid $10 for it. And the great thing is even in it's early stages it feels a helluva lot better than most big budget games releasing nowadays.

I genuinely need to know what games you play if you consider this game "trash"; like, I'm having a blast with this game, so if there's something out there that's that good I need to play it

So I did some testing, and I managed to somehow correct it by switching to my old mouse? I think the game is not recognizing my third party mouse program for my Logitech G502 Hero; Logitech G Hub, or vice versa, and its causing some jank. Do you have a similar set-up with your mouse?

Scratch that, my new mouse works too. What gives? It didn't work, now it does? Does the port you slot the mouse in matter in Windows 11? That is the only thing I can think of that I did differently, besides shutting the PC down and unplugging it. Now I want to figure out what happened and what causes this bug...

I use that exact mouse, with ghub, so if that's the issue it's inconsistent

I'm using a razer mouse with their synapse software, I'll try turning it off and see what happens. Will edit with my results.

Edit: Turned off razer's software with no improvement.

I have the same problem where my cursor isn't staying locked to the center of my screen and moves based of of where i look cause it to eventually be in one of the corners of my screen making my shots go off to the side

The only thing I can think of, if you have not tried it, is shutting it down and unplugging it for a extended time. I believe that is the only thing I may have done differently from before when I still had the bug. Maybe try a shutdown and unplug for 30 minutes or so, and then re-plug it in and boot up. At this point, might as well as try everything and see what sticks.

On Windows 10, I have 2 monitors, am not running into this issue. So it really might be Windows 11 breaking things.

Spoke to a moderator on the games discord, they are aware of the bug.

I'm running Windows 11, I found that if you right click and go to the properties for the game, go to controller, then set Override for ATLYSS: "Disable Steam Input" it fixed the problem for me. I still have a controller connected but even without it connected I was facing this issue with the mouse cursor messing stuff up behind the scenes.

No improvement on my end when I disabled it.
