There's also been stat changes to watch out for. Str gives stamina now and not defense while dex lost its stamina component.
Should it actually read more like "Strength Power"? Like, as in, is "Attack Power" the scaling factor for Strength weapons, or all weapons?
those being swords/ maces, things you can combine with shields, classified as melee, greatswords/hammers, your two handed melee with the slam charge attack, classified as heavy melee, and your pointy long things which I can't think of the name of right now. Halberd, spears, the like.
Katars are purely off dexterity, and strength does not do anything to them, by default, even though they could be called a "melee weapon".
At least, that's how I understand it.
Edit: Tbh it does feel inconsistent now, like they should all just be tailored after the stats like Mind Power instead of Magic Power and same for Strength Power.
