its not really drop based at level 15, I just finished all the content in the game as a mystic (only about 10 hours and im at lv 21). You can get a quest for a decent rod from the ratshopkeeper, and just buying straight up from her isnt a bad idea either. this carried me through up to level 18. you honestly just wanna pay attention to what enchants you have on and if youre actually increasing magic attack with your gear
Bell is a horrible weapon nuts to soup, it seems. I've got a crypt bell (normal rarity) and it just doesn't hit for ♥♥♥♥. I'm using a unique scepter that dropped from the Slime Diva that outclasses every other scepter I've got at the moment, and it is the strongest weapon I have (17-20 damage on hit on average). Unfortunately, it's just NOT efficient enough to murder things, As such, I'm dying in battles of attrition.
Yes. I'm allocating stats, hence the mentions of where my stats are in the initial post. Doesn't seem to be doing ♥♥♥♥ however. The rod...the wizwand or whatever? Did that quest already. Can't make enchants since I can't kill anything but the most basic of foes. Combine that with the costs of enchants, and I'm in a bit of a spot. That, and my damage isn't going up despite heavy mind investment.
Mystic is far from trash especially once you get the Bell from the 15-20 dungeon boss
That thing makes a joke out of the current content
The flame staff from the 15-20 dungeon should help you out alot with dps cause of the burn procs.
Thanks for the tips. Content I can't exactly beat due to something that's up with my character. It's like the mind scaling isn't doing anything at all
Level 15 just reached thanks to burning money on XP books since I can't kill. "Tethering Grove" is the current quest. Got tired of being carried by people, and now I can't do it on my own. Oh well!
Crypt bell is from the tutorial difficulty dungeon, no wonder you're doing garbo damage. The Slime diva wand is also not that great. You should farm for at LEAST the medium difficulty dungeons version of the bell and wand, then go in to the hard difficulty to get those versions or hell just buy mithril from the shop since you're level 15.
edit: Actually, yeah just buy the mithril then go do hard catacombs until you get the bell from the boss. because that's the next tier up from mithril. Then get either of the scepters that drop from the mushrooms in the grove. BAM you're no longer doing booty damage.
As it stands, I die in one hit even with points in vitality. Walking into a room and eating 60-120 damage is kind of a no sell in terms of doing the dungeon. Guess I'm cooked! Played the game too long to refund it too. Bah.
I've only played Mystic in the itch demo so I'm not 100% sure what there is to work with now but I used to do something like this: Dodge around until the enemies are grouped together (you can also slow down a bit then speed up and try to bait out some attack animations to create space) throw a Cross into them -> Immediately start casting Spire as they rush back toward me -> Fluxspear when they finally reach me -> Nova and bounce them away again and then finish off what's left with basic attacks or rinse & repeat the rotation. For heavy duty single targets I would just spam Fluxbolt.
I also stacked a ton of manafont gear so I wouldn't run out of gas after 1 rotation, also having a good amount of mana replenishing items helps for extended fights like bosses.
I believe Spire got changed and that Cryo spell is new so I'm not really sure what can be done now or if my example rotation makes any sense in the current version, but it's just an example and also to say you shouldn't count out the spell scroll drops after getting a class, they can really tie things together.
https://jumpshare.com/s/GbzFI6i0q038daudcWK4 Even the mythril bell is not up to snuff, it seems. This is after monetary burning on some magical power enchantments too. I don't seem to have the secret to crack that code in damage. Nothing is 'melting' like people swear it does.
