So far the platforming is tight, too, and quite serviceable although I for one feel as though the movement is just a touch too far on the brittle side (a bit too twitchy/jumpy, just snap to full speed velocity with no acceleration. doesn't feel as good as it could JUST YET)
There is a LOT of good gameplay here and I suspect it's only going to get better.
I love the Brave Fencer Musashi vibe but this is a skip for now until there's evidence this isnt a coomer furry bait game.
Not a furry here, it's not a coomer game. Once you get past the character creator and maybe don't join a lobby there's not much cooming to be had

It very much wasn't. I've been following this game since it was just some randomly generated rooms with shroom enemies. It was always a silly ARPG with jiggle bits and nothing more.
They removed the Adult tag on Itch specifically because people were getting the wrong idea about where it was going. (especially after people saw Slime Diva lmao)
Normies associate anything cute/furry with boobs as NSFW. They are also likely kids, or younger in general, so they have the maturity level of an unripe avocado. Its not a NSFW Game, its not some porn game. Its just a game that has cute furry chars that have jiggle physics (which you can toggle off btw). FFS Baldurs Gate 3 is more NSFW than this game, but you don't see them going after it. Because: it's not furry (because they refused to give us beast races outside of Dragonborn!)
The game has a TON of charm, and is genuinely a fun N64-era inspired ARPG.
Dunno about it being full-on "porn", but it was definitely adult at the start and the dev is a porn artist too.
That was the first "adult purge" of the game; later on, the dev wanted to really gut out the naughtier bits of the game and make it way more family friendly, cutting the size sliders in half and disabling the button that lets you go naked, but that got enough backlash that it never became a thing.
BG3 has nips, genitals, and outright sex scenes. Does that make it a porn game?
I know a few games developed by "porn artists" but honestly that doesn't matter. They are still just artists, and work hard at what they do. You can tell this game is a labor of love and a lot of effort went into making it a solid game.
I remember the drama about the sliders, it's why we have a limiter now instead.
Then again, the Diva firing slimes out of her tits is a nice reminder that the dev IS a porn artist.
IDK, I'm mostly just rambling, a lot of this is pretty much entirely irrelevant at this point. The released game is blushworthy, but not porn. Still wouldn't play this on my SFW account though, heh.
