Same here. Smacked her while she was going to grab a book, got slapped, nothing.

Same, smacked her butt and didn't get the achievement. I'd assume this is the way to get it, so It's possible it's bugged, some of the other achievements seem to be as well. You'll get achievements like climbing the tower if you're in the same zone when someone does it even if you never have before.

I think multiple people finding this out at once bugs it, someone showed us and she hit us all and now i cant get it.

As Angela walks around she'll occasionally lean down to take a book off a bookshelf. When she does you can run up and smack her butt (might need to have just your fists instead of a weapon), when you do that she gets mad and slaps you across the room.

However, for the rest of us in this chain, doing this is not triggering the achievement. This either means it's bugged or there's another secret that no one has found quite yet

Yup that seems to be the solution (WORTH IT!) far as I can tell... and yeah the achievement doesn't trigger either.

You can hit her with any weapon, fists don't seem to work. I've gotten hit by her multiple times, even tried blocking it but that didn't trigger the achievement either.

Dev knows the achievement is bugged and is planning to fix it in the next update.

you have to slap her when she is taking a book and you have to be (empty handed(and whithout shield equipped)) worked for me and my friend

It just got fixed with todays patch ^^
