How many computers can be activated?
That really does need to be on the store page.
Single machine activations on Steam are very annoying.
Many Steam users play on more than one device.
technically you get access on 3 machines...how many computers do you own? o.O
Way to fail.
before you say you been ripped off, I highly suggest you do some research

and I would suggest you check the price, so you see, the DRM is on the none steam version too,
how can you say you been ripped off now?
oh and you still have to enter a cd key when you buy it from chessbase....steam users are severely confused when it comes to the definition of DRM lol. when it takes more effort to download and crack a pirate copy i just don't get it
Having to "phone home" so the dev/publisher know what computers and how many you have it installed to and limit such installations?
No, I think that covers it, that is DRM, regardless of what marketing try to convince you.
Windows, Office, Adobe software.
I don't know why people complain. 3 machines should be enough for 99% of the population I guess.
I had a similar issue with Flight Simulator X a couple of years ago. I formatted my machine, bought a new one in a couple of weeks time and there were to many activations. Just had to phone the support and I it was fine.
Nothing wrong with some customer support.
There's a reason other companies stopped using it...
You guys are just fanboys, my god.
Is there some reason to limit the paying customer?
BTW, no one anywhere in this thread said they were getting ripped off.
