Deep Fritz 14 now available as DLC!

Dear Players,

We have listened to you! We had a number of requests from players to offer the Fritz 14 multi-processor engine. Fritz 14 is available with two versions of the chess engine: The “standard” single processor engine (included in Fritz 14), which utilizes one processor for all calculations and only one core of any multi-core processor. For ultimate performance the team at ChessBase has developed the Deep Fritz 14 multi-processor engine, which utilizes multiple processor cores for hyper speed calculations. This engine is now available as DLC for $ 19.99.
Here are the features:

Ø Completely redesigned 64 bit engine

Ø Supports up to 8 processors

Ø Packs almost 100 ELO points more than the previous version

Ø Play better faster with the world’s number 1 Chess Engine!

just checked i'm not getting that myself in any of the fritz engines i have (i also have fritz 13) i only get that in rybka and houdini....the parameter is either "cpu" or "threads" ...could be a glitch or you're reading a parameter for something else as such

Notice that at the bottom I have configured it to use 4 CPU's. That;s how I first noticed it...

Maybe some more info...
Steam tells me that the DLC is in my library so it seems that the DLC is in my account however, I just double checked my purchase history and I only bought the Fritz 14 game, not DLC... The amount is correct £26.99 which does not include the DLC however it seems like Steam has given me the DLC anyway :)

Did you pray to any strange deities before getting this gift? I have fritz 13 not on steam and if all I have to do is pray to cthulhu or something I'll give it a go! :D

I was watching a documentary about parallel universes on NatGeo. Maybe that had something do to with it....
I probably bought the DLC in a parallel universe but the delivery slipped into this one and there's a pissed off me in another universe :p

same here, hvnt bought DLC, but look like support 8 core.
