Fritz Chess 14

Fritz Chess 14

Too hard. No fun.
AI is relentless. I see no place for a begginer here. I feel like I wastd 40 bucks. Is there anyway to play at a lower level?

You should also definently take advantage of the beginners training videos we include with the product as it really clarifies the different chess situations one can be faced with.

Training videos? Where do I find those? This program feels really user-unfriendly if you don't already know a lot about chess. I was hoping for tutorials etc.

I agree. Where are those training videos at? The Fun and Games area did help a lot though.

there's a ton of training content on playchess after you login...a lot more content than you get in the basic package from steam which isn't much more than a basic "how to play chess" set of tutorials. as well as multimedia content previously recorded and uploaded to playchess, there are regularly scheduled broadcasts through playchess where you can further your game skills

The media files , we switched the folder they are in. If you go under Documents, Chessbase , Multimedia.HTM and then look in that folder and you can open up the videos there.

It made sense based on player feedback that they went in there instead of the previous folder it was placed into.

I know this post was created some time ago, but ... I have just installed Fritz and a lot to learn. When it was installing there was something called 'beginner something or other' as 1 part of 6 parts (along with DirectX etc) but I can't find it - so it might even been about the installation itself - not the final program.
Is there an associated program for beginners that is installed with Fritz14 or some How to use tutorials I don't know where 'Document, Chessbase...." is. Any beginners tutorial/package or is there guide on how to learn Chess through using Fritz

that's probably the training media you were seeing. there's some basic "how to play chess" stuff in there...should be atleast

also you can find videos on youtube about how to use fritz features that might be useful to you
