How is this free ?! The lovechild of City Building and RTS games, this will keep you busy and challenged as you grow a settlement on an uninhabited planet. Harvest resources, manage population, maintain and grow your settlement, advance your tech.
Some small 'issues' I've noticed so far (I use the term issues loosely as they don't really negatively effect gameplay):
-Despite having a Logistics Hub fully staffed, the trucks still show inefficiencies. Often I see a convoy of tankers, for example, all head to one building to empty finished goods, but only one of those trucks is actually required making the rest of the convoy return to base empty handed.
-On rare occasions I notice the Priority queue is ignored. Only time it really became an issue is when a critical pipe in the Life Support network was in need of repair. I set to Critical Priority and watched as it was ignored, not for a day or a few days, but for half a year. I made a point of pausing all construction and setting both the shipboard and Construction Office to 'Maintenance'. In the end I Dismantled the faulty pipe and built a new one in it's place.
-Colonists may be over dramatic at times. With a growing population, balancing food production growth can be a bit challenging. On occasion the Colonists have complained (and a couple even died) of Starvation while my food stockpiles were still in the hundreds. (More food was inbound by truck from the various wrecked ships in the area)

All in all these are but minor inconveniences. The game is superb, and I look forward to testing the expansion packs in the future

A fantastic first stab at a game, with great bones already. Punishingly difficult (in my experience so far) in the best of ways. One to keep an eye on, and I'm hopeful for its future!

Great contender in the survival colony sim genre. Complexity is deep and not forced. Some mechanics are still a bit hard to grasp, but this is the preview alpha. I think the creator has great potential to make something awesome in the future.
