More efficient food and lifesupport?
Is there anything besides basic Hydroponics and Life Support Ancillary? If there is, what are requirements for those? I got to 800+ pop with only basics and it's kinda starting to crash on me because maintenance and boomers.

there're better solutions later on, but getting to them is a hassle atm... logistics are dumb, as they prefer moving stones rather than replenish oxygen and water life support systems =/
Don't moving stones and moving life support systems require different vehicles?

Can you share, what unlocking them require?

As per game files (I assume these are for unlocking corresponding builinds):
- t2 life support - 5 t1 life support + 1 large storage for both liquids and gases
- soil (required for t2 farming) - produce 100k stone AND farm 240k potatoes, 72k legumes, 36k veggies, 24k cotton (you need 2 different types, so start producing these veggies...)
- t2 farming - produce 100k laminated glass, 40k soil, store 200k water, have 3 t2 life support + 15 greenhouses

It seems game (or rather the devs) want you to stay on t1 food for quite a while. Building requirements looks reasonable, but resources are bit too steep. To store 200k water you need 17 full large water tanks, and that's only one of the requirments.
Or maybe it's a sort of soft-limit for an alpha version - you can get t2 stuff, but chances are you wouldn't

BTW, I think game either need to state the requirments for discovery of techs openly or have more goals similar to starting ones. Going into game files to figure out these things (or reading other's comments on forums) isnt' the best way

Thanx alot. I already got soil... without doing cotton (dunno about it at all). 200k water will be fun, considering my colony already in perma-crisis mode. Large storage for gasses it's what i missed.

I checked again and the game files seems to have two extra zeros in resource values. So it isn't 200k water - it is 2k. And the rest is the same.
Also for t2 farming you need 2 on any - most likely it would by potatoes and veggies, but you can get vegies and legumes to get to farms faster

most buildings after objective tree are unlocked with research and producing materials and building previously unlocked buildings... i must say i never really looked after requirement since i always unlocked them without even trying, simply developping my colony here and there (producing more ressources, sustainning my growing number of colonists etc...

Big-ass-gas storage is last thing you want, when there's not enough young ppl to feed everybody, and there's constant breaks in LS grid because no pipes...
