The post here on Steam says the 17th is the release day, basically right now, but the window when loading up the game now states the 18th.
Would be rather nice if you get that information straight and stick to it so some of us aren't needlessly staying up to check something out that isn't happening that day. A lot of us aren't on the devs time zone. Thanks.
