Past BP "obtain //// chrono tokens to unlock this page"

I have 1170 and have bought the past BP (dark hold one) yet it's asking me to have 1250 to unlock the page.. why can't I just unlock certain items from it?

Each one has it's own coins, you don't transfer coins from the previous one. They added the option, once you complete a battlepass, that you can bank 1k of the purple coins into some blue coins so they aren't getting wasted if you collected extra, but you can't have the coins move over to the next battlepass.
Everyone starts at zero when a new battlepass is released.

I think the question is more so if I unlocked a page on an old battlepass already, why would I need to regrind to unlock that page again each time a season resets? It's just needlessly tedious.

That's a stupid question to ask since everything you've unlocked stays unlocked. Nothing resets in an old battlepass. I've literally looked at my old ones.

Good job, bud, you showed everyone you have 0 reading comprehension. If you have an item from the last pass you didn't redeem (which you probably don't because you sound like you've never seen grass), the page it is on outright tells you "earn XXXX more tokens to unlock this page" again, even though you had that page unlocked last season (the other items even have checks on them to prove it!). You are also confidently incorrect about token carryover, I got to keep the 40 I had left over from last season.

Well I don't buy a battlepass for a game to then ignore it and spend time outside, so you are right on that account, good one junior.
As for the rest of your point, no I have no encountered anything that tells me you need to unlock a page again. Like I said, looked back on my older battlepasses and everything is as it was, so if that's a thing you may want to contact CUSTOMER SUPPORT with the COMPANY that runs the game, not come on the forums where most of us won't be able to help you.
I feel like that shouldn't need explaining, but the times we live in illustrates to me how many people were lacking in intelligence that I gave far too much credit for.
But I'm sure you'll figure it out, or quit with juvenile kicking and screaming. Either way that's a win for the rest of us. Muting you since you can't seem to be nice even though I did initially come in here to try and help. But all you seem to want is to ***** unlike OP.

as for the actual answer, this comes from the support page:
"Should you desire to continue unlocking rewards of an earlier battle pass in any subsequent season, Chrono Tokens must be acquired anew to meet the unlocking conditions of the pages of the previous Battle Pass in the new season. The reason for this is twofold: firstly, we still recommend and encourage completing the Battle Pass within its designated season; secondly, we hope you will immerse yourselves in the new season's Battle Pass, as each Battle Pass is crafted based on the season's theme. Commencing a new season and embracing its Battle Pass will enrich your understanding of each seasonal saga."

which proves this is intentional and nobody is going to receive support because nothing is broken. They want you to grind double for the stuff you already grinded for to reinforce their pseudo-FOMO model.

It's amusing, my wife has ZERO interest in buying the current pass, nothing interests her, but this model has made it so she cannot continue her progress in the prior pass, where she was close to unlocking the Scarlet Witch skin.

She has limited time to play but enjoys the game, she feels as if she's been "punished" because she dared not to make Marvel Rivals the only thing she does. The idea of the pass being permanent is actually what sold her on it to begin with.

After finding this out, she doesn't think she'll buying one again lol.

She's a drop in an ocean of players, but I still think the model is bogus.
