I just caught a cheater on CONSOLE!!!

But I just got dude on PlayStation Playing as Spider-Man who escaped a Jeff Suicide ulti off the map.

I got a Groot and Spider in my ulti and I suicide off the map. Me and groot die and the spider doesn't die and web swings away instantly.

There is no way that is possible.

EDIT:

By the way I tested this with a friend and it's not possible for Spider-Man to web sling away.

The guy either made himself invulnerable to get out. Or, if there is a window it's like one frame and basically impossible to time and can only be done with a script or maybe a rapid fire button.

I've done this before with both Squirrel Girl and Scarlet Witch. As long as your character model is free and you haven't hit out-of-bounds, you can escape.

Strange how everyone seems to know this on the forums but there are no videos about it and nobody in Diamond or Grand Master who stops suicide dives off the map with Jeff even though it is useless.

Also if it wasn't a cheat or script why wouldn't the Spider-Man player just say That Spider-Man can get out of it rather than resorting to the fact that he plays on console as the proof he isn't cheating.

Maybe he didn't know either and you both learned something?

Here's a slowmo video of it being done. The uploader here doesn't recognize that this isn't a bug, but some of the commenters point it out and note that Rocket isn't the only character that can do it.

Has to be scripts. Why can't invis double jump from it?

It might be a bug/uninteded but its not a script nor cheat.

I can do it pretty much every time, as rocket, by just spamming shift (dash) button while eaten. Either im super lucky, the game queues actions OR its way more than "1 frame".
