is getting 20% bonus purple stuff worth?
since we can exchange 1000 purple for 100 blue, and 20% bonus cost like 1000 gold, and 100 blue cost 100 gold, with my big brain calculations, would we get more value from getting 20% bonus at start of battle pass? so that at the end of season we get more than we paid for? anyone?

At first I would say no, since it becomes worthless once you get everything in the pass. But now that you can convert the purple currency into blue it may have been. Can't say it is now though now that the season is about to end and the next season is about to start though.

Probably not, I bought the upgrade back when it was announced so I probably missed 1 month of +20%, but I only had 1100 worth to exchange, it probably will end up being a bit of a loss compared to just not buying it and exchanging for the small amount.

Some basic calculations if you get like 45 a day worth from every 2 days challenge and 4/3 rotations extra I only missed like 1350 overall so might have got me 2 more exchanges, if season is 90 days that's only 4050 + 2800, so just a loss, ignoring event ones for a bit more.

Hah... no.

You get 20% boost to purple coins, sure, that's good, but it costs 1K yellow coins, which, as you stated, is 1K blue coins if you are going to convert them. You need 1K purple coins to get 100 blue coins, so to make it worth it, your 20% boost need to provide you with 10K worth of purple coins, which means you need to get to 60K purple coins at the end of the battlepass, not including the battlepass itself, to break even. IF you are willing to spend about 300 hours, more or less, kinda depens, within a span of 3 months, you may be able to get the whole battlepass and extra 60K purple coins. If you are playing less than that, purple coin boost is worthless, since you won't be able to break even, it will be a net loss.

If it were permanent on the other hand, then it would be worth it for anyone who likes shiny new skins, since you need to spend less time to unlock cosmetics in the battlepass and you get some extra blue coins for 'free'.
If you have spare money and gonna play daily till the end, might be worth the deal, tho check the season's deal first. But honestly, seasonal pass alone is more than enough to enjoy it all without sweating it. If money burns your pockets, spend them on legendary skins instead.

No if you play often. Even with the endless exchange at the end of the pass. The amount of costume currency you get is not worth the extra money for the 20%.
Dude, I didn't even know you could exchange Chrono Tokens for units!

Edit: Oh, this is just for the final battle pass page? Haha, YEAAAAAH...I'm never touching that.

Big brain? Is that why you asked everyone else to do the math for you?

Not worth it, supposedly. Even with the chrono -> blue units

Only thing that it helps with is you will finish the Battlepass in 34 days instead of 54 (this is without any events that give tokens). So its really only for people who dont have time to "finish all dailies and weeklies"
