Help with Captain America's ult and the achievement

Hi guys, I've been trying to get this achievement done for a few days ("JUSTICE FOR ALL! As Captain America, land 3 KOs with a single use of Freedom Charge") but I can't seem to figure it.

I hadn't played Cap before this week, and while I quite enjoy him his ult doesn't seem to do anything. He shouts, there's some different graphics, but his fighting potential doesn't seem to differ to me.

Should I charge when it's up? Shield up, left click? I really don't get what it does.

Cap ult is not offensive, it is defensive, and one of the best ones at that. Activating it gives him and allies constant temp health and a speed boost if they move in the lines he leaves as he moves around on top of pushing enemies back if he has his shield up. It is best used to either protect and get allies out of bad spots or as a push and space maker with hopefully your team coming with you and not being a bunch of chicken ♥♥♥♥♥. The temp health Cap gets from it alone makes him damn near invincible. Psylocke and Storm for example cannot kill you in their ults due to the amount of temp health you generate during it and as for getting the achievement itself, do it in doom match. A lot of people do doom match for hero specific achievements as it is the easiest place to get them.

Just use it on big teamfight over capping or defending site. You can't just hit ult, and magically get 3 KO's without doing anything. You still need use your normal kit on top of that.

Ah, so it's just fight as normal while it's up? I thought you had to use the moves it lists in the description.
