Report a translation problem
Ranks should matter but don't because there are no penalties for players that ruin the match for their teammates by not playing their character or role correctly. Or that just do nothing. Same goes for statistics. You could have amazing stats from a long streak of great games, but eventually you will get matches where the strategists don't heal anyone, tanks disappear, and other nonsense.
I think we need two main things:
1 - a flexible role check > no matter what, a team needs 1 strategist and 1 vanguard at all times. So 4 slots for duelist and 1 for van and 1 for strat. However, as the match goes on, if the enemy team switches to two strategists or two tanks, then the next duelist on your team that dies will be forced to choose that role that is needed. Same for if 2 of a role are chosen in beginning. That way teams will always have an even number of strats and vanguards.
2 - the other thing needed to make this work is penalties and severe ones at that > if someone is playing a healer or vanguard and refuses to play the role they are supposed to be playing, they can lose rank and/or levels. Right now players can do whatever they want. If someone quits midmatch, they lose a rank and levels. We need penalties so players will do what they are supposed to.
Now, if you que with a premade team, then you won't have to worry about any of this. But many of us who que solo or with only a couple of friends. have to deal with these people every other match!! It is astounding how many people will join a match only to ruin it for their teammates.
Also, no more of this no content nonsense. We need 4 characters per season with at least 2 maps or more added every season. We need more game modes and ways to customize game modes so they can be different. We also need at least one pvpve map, or all of them, for a new game mode. Like New York map. have actual enemy vampires running around that attack the teams. An added hassle as they are weaker, but it still affects the match.
We have stories that are split up, but for each map, the teams get a different objective. Except once the match starts, that objective means nothing and if you win the match, then apparently you also completed the objective. Crazy.
Right now I am afraid that the devs made 50-60 characters and maybe another 5-10 maps. And they are just going to release that premade content bit by bit across the next two years and that will be it. No changes or updates. I'm hoping there are active devs.
The game will be good if they don't change anything. But it can be soooooooo much better and more robust if they put the effort in. Just my opinion.
