OW is competitive whereas MR is just a death match where you throw projectiles that can 3 hit kill people even from tanks. itll never be competitive.
Marvel Rivals is not going to kill OW2. The two will simply co-exist.
MR is still riding the 'new' hype, OW when it released on BN was over a million players (double MR numbers). look at deadlock for comparison, where it was 200k and now barely holds 20k. people leave once the new-ness ends.
but i think MR will remain active for a long time, because it is cross platform. so there will always be kids on consoles to pad the numbers.
