DirectX bug.

Used to play the game for a few days since it launched. Suddenly today my pc froze in game and when i restarted it i get greeted with a Directx12 message when launcing the game. Any reason for that since i used to play the game with no problems for days.

Have you rebooted your PC yet ?

It's likely that your GPU driver crashed.

I did, and it is still happening, most of the people having these problems haven't even played the game at all, while i have spent hours playing.

Could you post basic specifications of your PC ?
based on certain configs there are things to try.

16gb ram, radeon rx 580, ryzen 5 2600
It seems like there are some problems with the rx 580, saying it needs to be updated but i have the latest drivers for it.
Edit: I just uninstalled my display device(my graphics card) and now it launched the game, gonna update if it crashes again.

I have seen other people with that card having troubles with it on recent drivers across several UE5 games, so maybe try to roll back to older driver and see.

Also, always mention which specific version of software you have as for several reaons the word "latest" isn't entirely up to its description anymore.

Im new to the game, and decided to start today, but this error is happening too.
8192mb ram. nvidia geforce gtx 1650. i watched a bunch of guides and all say same stuff of trying -dx11, -d3d11, the "12" variations of previous two.

Well i tried to update my graphics driver but it says its already up do date and i can't roll back the updates. I don't know what to do since im not very good with computers

i have same problem. freeze without reasons. tried any settings. cant fix that =(

for me, it seems like a problem with the graphics card driver and windows update making it a microsoft driver,idk really but most people say its that,so everytime that happens i have to uninstall the drivers, reinstall them and then play until it happens
