Why is there a challenge to take damage?

I got a challenge to take damage as a couple heroes, seems kinda not challenging...

Like, you can just finnish it by playing instead of playing in a way that the game forces you to for the sake of annoyance.

I think shielding it also counts so you can challenge yourself by doing it afap.
Also, vanguards can take more dmg before dying so it might incite people to play those.

tbh is pretty easy for a useless dps to do since most go 6-18
